A delegation of 10 Japanese students from the Nagoya Institute of Technology, aged 22-24, spent a month in Haute-Normandie as part of a seminar organised by ESIGELEC.
From August 30th to October 1st 2013, the students explored Haute-Normandie visiting Rouen, Mont-Saint-Michel and Giverny as well as companies such as the EDF nuclear plant in Le Havre and Renault Cléon. The Japanese students also took class: French as a foreign language, data & query modelling and introduction to French culture.
This is the 4th seminar of its kind but the first time that Rouen Tourist Information, ESIGELEC and ADEAR’s International Relations departments had organised a party in their honour attended by tourist guides, ESIGELEC students and two Japanese company founders based in the region.
