Future engineers from Normandy !

A partnership agreement has just been signed with the Pablo Neruda Secondary School in Dieppe and the Dieppe industrial cluster Méca Energies which unites nearly 125 businesses in the region. The objective is to increase awareness of the opportunities at the school of engineering for high school students and its BTS (French higher education 2-year vocational training certificate), as well as their families.

Commitments have been made by ESIGELEC, as well as INSA and CESI, who are also signatories, in order to enhance and demystify the channels and to organise immersion days. Hosting apprentices or trainees will be facilitated, particularly within firms from the cluster whose sectors offer real opportunities in the Dieppe region both in logistics, building, mechanics, energy and public works, etc. As regards major projects in the Dieppe region, such as the offshore wind farm and the relaunch of Renault Alpine and the development of the Penly power station, businesses are looking for skills to meet the challenges of innovation.
