ESIGELEC IRSEEM closed the three projects funded in the framework of the European INTERREG programme, of which it was the leader. COALAS, SAVEMORE and HOMES have come to a close since INTERREG IV is completed to leave room for INTERREG V.
The closures of HOMES and SAVEMORE took place in the CISE building, while that of COALAS was organised in England by the University of Kent, a partner in the project.
COALAS, innovation for disability
The COALAS project was about developing new technologies for people with disabilities through the role of social and technological innovation and an overview of the psychological and social integrity of users. It was intended to integrate standard components to make them communicative, cooperative and interactive (for example, a wheelchair, a humanoid robot, an electro-cardiogram, etc.) to provide users with an appropriate and innovative service in terms of autonomy.
A follow-on from the project, ADAPT, was filed in May as part of the European INTERREG V programme.

SAVEMORE, an ecological and economic project
What if the 3.5 t could be replaced by fleets of intelligent electric vehicles? The objective of the SAVEMORE project was to examine the impact, feasibility and additional value of an autonomous vehicle in an urban environment. The concept was to save time, energy and the environment by preventing lorries and vans from driving inside cities.
This project requires a follow-on, entitled TOPOLOGIC, which will be filed in September, in partnership with the LITIS, the University of Kent, Neoma Business School and CEREMA.

HOMES, the WiFi of the future
Improve WiFi standards and reduce the margin of errors of transfers: such were the objectives of the HOMES project, which was intended to multiply the current WiFi speed by 12. It should allow applications of the future to include more multimedia, such as videos or sounds, by costing more economic technologies in terms of money and energy.
