An IRSEEM team took part in the EMC Europe 2013 conference held in Bruges in Belgium from September 2nd to 6th.
EMC Europe is a major conference for European Electromagnetic Compatibility which takes place in a different city every year. It brings together EMC specialists for science presentations, workshops, specialist themed sessions, classes and exhibitions.
Five scientists from IRSEEM made the journey including three doctors and two research professors. Fatou Diouf and Thomas Eudes both made a presentation: Fatou Diouf on EMC measures for automobiles and Thomas Eudes on a PCB modelling method. Blaise Ravelo presented a poster on the analysis of near-field pairings in the time domain whilst Guillaume Coru (photo) and Fabrice Duval focused on a model predicting faults in electronic components used in automobiles.
Next year’s conference will be held from September 1st to 4th at the Swedish Exhibition & Congress Centre in Gothenburg, Sweden. European scientists have already been invited to submit their work.
