L'actu de l'ESIGELEC - IRSEEM : Three new business-school partnership agreements

ESIGELEC hosts over 1,500 engineering students in initial training, apprenticeship or professional training contracts.

Accredited by the CTI (Commission des Titres d’Ingénieur – Engineering Accreditation Commission) and associated with the Institut Mines Telecom, the School is ranked among the best in its areas of training. To maintain this excellent level, there has to be an understanding of corporate requirements and a high quality network must be nurtured with industry professionals. With this in mind, three new partnership agreements have been signed in the first term of 2013.

Three companies at the top of their field of expertise

Aubay is an integration and technology consultancy company specialising in information and industrial systems, networks and telecommunications which has rapidly established itself as a global player at a European level. The company has over 2,600 employees in 6 countries (France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Italy, Spain and Portugal).

LGM INGENIERIE, which specialises in the management and engineering of major projects, is an expert in electronic systems design, simulation and modelling, organic design, validation and qualification and developing test beds.

MC2I group is a firm of consultants in information systems and organisation. With a team of 320 consultants, the company provides project management assistance to steer, design and approve information systems.

Partnership agreements: tangible benefits for the School and the companies

Above all, this is about bringing together the School’s academic supply and the companies’ industrial demand in their field of expertise so as to better prepare the students for their integration into the job market. Real added value for the students.

Professionals from the partner companies contribute to the School by training students in specific areas of expertise. The companies also take part in discussions on the development of content and teaching methods.

As for the companies, this collaboration lets them recruit young graduates, apprentices, students in professional training contracts and trainees already trained in market requirements. It is also a very good way for these companies to increase their degree of recognition amongst engineers, future engineers and faculties.
