The ESIGELEC students participated in this new edition of the Challenge and three projects they were associated with won a prize.

The BROC’Etudiante project won the “Dream Team” prize. It aims to strengthen the sense of solidarity within the student community by organising the buying and selling of items via the Internet to furnish lodgings.

The EquiGen & Perf project, which won the “Manag’Ing Innovation” prize, provides a diagnosis and genetic expertise for the equine industry. This provides horse breeders and owners with the genetic status of their horses for healthy crosses.

Finally, the Parkeco project received the “Netforce” European prize. It provides adjustable garages created from containers for individuals living in the outskirts of a city who own some land.

The regional “Entrepreneurials” Challenge is a training programme devoted to business creation organised by the Réseau Entreprendre network with backing from the Regional Council of Upper Normandy, the CREA (Agglomeration Community of Rouen Elbeuf Austreberthe), the Crédit Agricole, EDF, the Total group, the order of Chartered Accountants and the Regional Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Rouen and Le Havre, as part of the European Interreg IV A programme.
From November to April, a few students will be able to complete 200 hours of field work, supported by coaches and business leaders. Each team of students tries out its new business concept in the field and develops its business project in conditions as close to economic and financial reality as possible.

• An information meeting for the class of 2014 at the ESIGELEC is planned for the 24th September from 6 – 7 pm for ESIGELEC students to present the programme and practical arrangements for forming your team and registering.


• A Speed Dating evening will be organised on the Rouen campus at the Pôle Universitaire des Sciences du Tertiaire (PUST) – Tertiary Sciences University centre, avenue Pasteur, on 9th October from 6 – 8 pm. The aim of this evening is to form multi-disciplinary teams and will therefore enable project leaders to meet other students to form their team.


• The launch evening will take place on 19th November at the ESIGELEC from 6 – 8.30 pm, to bring partners and students together. The various partners will share their experience of the Entrepreneurials as well as students from the previous year. The evening will continue with the coaches and sponsors being introduced to the teams. This evening provides all the participants with the opportunity to talk about the Entrepreneurials.
