The ESIG’Computer association has just been awarded the Ordi 2.0 label: at national level, this label brings together all of the partners involved in recycling second-hand IT hardware. ESIG’Computer is currently listed in an annual directory, thereby facilitating its establishment of relations with possible suppliers.
This is good recognition of the work already done by the ESIGELEC engineering students association, which does of course count on continuing with its launch. A future prospect is a partnership with the FFF (French Families Federation) for training for the general public regarding using new technologies.
This is the 4th year in which ESIG’Computer has brought used computers back to life with a view to enabling sectors of the public who do usually have little or no access to them. Its vision: no less than to close the digital divide as part of a sustainable development approach!
